"not the fruit of experience, but the experience itself, is the end." - walter pater

I have worked in international development finance for most of my career.  I currently work for the IFC Asset Management Company, a private equity fund manager wholly owned by the IFC (private sector arm of the World Bank Group).  I help to manage two emerging markets fund-of-funds (one generalist, one focused on climate/environmental investing). Prior to joining IFC/AMC, I spent seven years with the Asian Development Bank in Manila, Philippines, making investments in private equity funds and other financial institutions in Asian emerging markets.  My interests include most issues related to the health, depth, and strength of financial and banking systems.
